Happy Easter!!!

Well Jorie was kindof naughty on Easter. We ended up leaving church early because she was just unbearable!! Then she fell asleep hunched over on her blanket. She was much happier after a little nap. She looked so cute in her Easter dress that Kevin's mom bought for her. After church we went over to Kevin's parents house for lunch and our Easter Egg Hunt. It was so fun!! We all got prizes. We got very spoiled!!! And of course, Jorie got spoiled the most. Then we went home and Jorie had another much needed nap. Then we went outside to help Kevin prune some trees. Then my mom came over and brought Jorie some cute jammies. She is so spoiled!!!! It was a great first Easter.

Our First Paradise Town Easter Egg Hunt!!!

On Saturday we took Jorie to her first annual Paradise Town Easter Egg Hunt. She is still too little to care a whole lot but it was still fun to take her and help her get some eggs. It's never too early to start the tradition!!!

Baby Animal Days!!

I had work off these last few days because of Spring Break so we have stayed really busy with some fun activities. On Friday we went to Baby Animal Days at American West Heritage Center. It is always so much fun. It was way better this year because I got to take my own baby!! Jorie was so happy when we got there. It was Mindi, Hunter, my Mom and Jorie and I. We got to see lots of fun things and Jorie really seemed to be having a great time. That is, until she got to pet a baby cow. We couldn't go in with the cows so the man working there took Jorie so she could pet one. She was great until she touched it and then she started screaming. It was VERY loud!! I got her calmed down but everytime she would look over at the cows she would yell at them. It was pretty funny. She was so exhaused by the time we got home!!! We such a great time. I can't wait to go again next year!!

Dad's dream come true!!

Kevin is a really good snuggler and Jorie really isn't anymore. He always wants her to fall asleep on his chest but she just won't. She hasn't ever since she was born. The other night it got really quiet so I went to check out the situation. This is what I saw. Kevin was so excited!! They looked so comfortable. It was nice for all of us. They got to snuggle and I got to have a nice, hot, bubble bath. It was a win-win situation!!!

Great friends!!!

Jorie has got to play so much this week!!! We had Cooper all day on Tuesday and then Hunter came over for a little while on Wednesday. It's nice when someone else comes over for a while because Jorie is so entertained!! She loves to watch other kids play. I think she gets a little frustrated that everyone else can move around and she can't quite crawl yet but she's getting the hang of it.

First 4 wheeler ride

On Sunday we took Jorie for her first 4 wheeler ride. We got her all bundled up and put her in the backpack. Jorie loved it so much. She just smiled and kicked her legs the whole time. We only went to Kevin's mom and dads house so it wasn't a very long ride. Kevin thinks that Jorie can go hunting with him now because she likes the 4 wheeler. I'm not so sure about that but we'll see!!!! I can't wait until the summer so we can go on a little longer rides and it will be a little warmer.

Finally!!!

For Christmas I got Jorie one of these ball poppers from Kohls. When we opened it, it didn't work and they couldn't get me one from another store because they were all out too. So we just got our money back and called it good. Then on Friday night we ran into Smiths for a minute and saw that they had one on sale so we just couldn't pass it up. I'm so glad we finally got one. Jorie loves it. She tries to get the balls out and bounces when the music plays. She's just so entertained by it all. The day after we got it I put her on the floor to play with it and what do you know, she just wanted to play with the cardboard box that it came in. Figures huh?

Giddy-up!!

Kevin bought Jorie an early Easter present. Her very own pink rocking horse. She absolutely LOVES it!! It sings and makes noised when you push it's ears and when it sings she gets rocking and bouncing so much that she about bucks herself off. She just might have a career in rodeo!!!! That would make Grandpa so happy!!!

Yea Jazz!!!

A couple of weeks ago Nick gave us tickets to the Jazz game. We have taken Jorie to lots of Aggie games and she liked them but not nearly as much as the Jazz game. She clapped and yelled thru the whole game!! The clapping picture is fuzzy and she was trying to grab the camera in the other one but you get the idea. She was so funny. It made Kevin so happy that she liked to watch the game, now maybe he will have someone to watch sports with.
