Peach Days

Last weekend Kevin went to Southern Utah to go hunting so Jorie and I went to Peach Days. They have an awesome parade. Jorie LOVES parades as you can see from the huge smile. We went with some friends from work and we had a blast!! My friends husband took us to the firestation and the kids got to sit in the fire trucks and honk the horns. They loved it. It was such a fun day. Thanks all for the good times!!!

A couple of weeks ago I cut about 14 inches off of my hair. These pics aren't great but you get the idea. I LOVE it. It's so much easier to fix!!

Catching up

Ok since I haven't updated since May I figured it was about time!! We have had a very busy summer. Since Kevin got home from taxidermy school he has been to three different scout camps and now that hunting season is upon us I'm not sure when Jorie and I will see him again!! He has been working very hard on our garden and we have had a TON of yummy veggies. Kevin found out in August that he had skin cancer on his head. He had a little surgery to remove it and it looks good. He has to be really careful in the sun and stay covered up from now on. He better or I might just have to kick his butt!!!
Jorie is crawling all over and has started to walk a little. She is finally sleeping thru the night and says a few words. She says dog, dad, deer, that, and this. I'm pretty sure she told me no yesterday and I'm not too excited about that one!!! She is hilarious and she always keeps us laughing and on our toes!! She's such a blessing in our life. I have no idea what I did with all of my time before we had her!! The other day she emptied the qtips, unrolled a roll of toilet paper, emptied my purse and wallet and threw her lunch on the floor all in about two hours time. When I took her for her year old appt. the doctor was watching her and said, "Well she's quite busy isn't she?" I wanted to say, "Ya think?" I just love her so much!!!
I haven't been up to much. Just working and trying to keep everything moving along. For my birthday Kevin took me to Jackson for the weekend. It was much needed and he knew that!! It was nice to get away for a day. I am so blessed and I love all of our family and friends. Thank you all so much for everything you do for us. Without you we wouldn't be able to do anything!!!

Mama Mia Party

A couple of weeks ago Susan had a Mama Mia party. She made the girls costumes and there was a stage and pinatas and all kinds of fun stuff. It was a blast!! Everyone had so much fun and they all decided it needed to be a yearly event. Thanks Susan!! It was so much fun!!

Happy Birthday Jorie!!!

I can't believe my baby's 1! Where does the time go? I really was a little sad! On Jories birthday we got up and grandma and I went to get her ears pierced. I was so proud of her she hardly even cried!! I think Kevin was more upset than she was. He wasn't with us and he wasn't too happy we were doing it but every little girl needs "pretties" in her ears!!! He was ok once he saw how cute they look. Then we went and got some ice cream with aunt Kelli. After Jorie had a much needed nap it was time for her party. Except she was getting a tooth and had a total meltdown right as people were starting to show up. Thank goodness Mindi had some teething gel!!! That did the trick and then she was good to go!! We had some burgers and then she opened gifts. Of course she was very spoiled and Aunt Sandra brought her a crown and a wand because every princess needs one according to her. Jorie loved them and loved playing with all of the other gifts she got. When it was time for her cake the wind started blowing so we came in the house. She doesn't really like things on her hands so she wasn't too sure about the cake. It took her a minute but she got the hang of it....kinda. She kept sticking her foot in the cake and then she would eat it off her foot. She's such a goof ball!!! We love her so much and she keeps us laughing!!! Happy Bday Jorie!!!

Fun at Bear Lake

Around the 24th of July my family met at Bear Lake. My family from Wyoming and my grandparents from St. George and my dad all met for some fun at the lake. It was freezing when we got there and it rained a little and the wind was blowing but we got some waverunners anyway. We had so much fun. I love it over there!!! Jorie and Cooper were having a great time with my grandpa. It might have had something to do with the bag of cheetos and all the red vine licorice that he fed them!!! We had such a great time, even though I did get my butt kicked by the waverunners. I had no idea my cousins were such bad drivers!!!!!

Animal Lover!!!!

One weekend in July Kevin was at scout camp so my mom and I decided to take Jorie to the park. First we went and walked around the sidewalk sales in Logan and then we got us a picnic and went to Willow Park. Jorie absolutely loved it!! While we ate she watched the kids on the playground and when we walked around she just looked and pointed at all the animals. She loves all animals. She loves the dogs and when we went to the fair she kept calling everything dogs. Cows, pigs, chickens, goats are all dogs according to her. She's too funny!!! By the time we were done she was absolutely exhausted!! We had a great day!!

4th of July

Every year on the 4th of July we go to my aunts house and watch the parade and have lunch. It's my favorite holiday!!!! We also go watch the logan fireworks. I wasn't sure how Jorie would do but she loved them. She also loved the parade but as you can see the highlight of her holiday was the glowing jewlery!!! On the 4th we decided to head over to Brigham to watch their fireworks. The girls from work saved us a spot and us and the Gibbs family headed over. It was so fun. They have a great firework show! We had a great weekend!!!
