Day after!

As you can all see Jorie's doing very well after her surgery. It doesn't seem to bother her a bit. I'm really glad I was able to get some clothes on her. It wasn't too easy but oh well. I was glad she could wear long sleeves too. Her other arm kept getting so cold, I felt bad for her!! She has just been hanging out and chewing on her cast. Yummy!!!!!!!

Recovery

The pics in the carseat were in the recovery room right before we came home. Her little cheeks were so red from the tape that was holding her tubes. It looked just like red paint!!! Her hot pink cast is so cute!!!!

One last look!!!

So Jorie had her surgery done yesterday. This was right before they came and got her. She did so good. I was a little sad because I just loved her little thumb but I wouldn't like it if she got made fun of because of it. We had to check in to Primary's at 6:30 am and then her surgery was at 8. She got done at 9:30 and we were on our way home by 10:30. We thought that we would be there a lot longer but she was doing so well that they let us go home. She is such a trooper!!!! It hasn't slowed her down at all. Now istead of chewing on her extra thumb she just chews on her cast!!!! That will be really gross in 3 weeks when we get to take it off!!!

What a mess!!!

So I tried to take some plaster molds of Jorie's hand before her surgery and as you can see we made a huge mess. She was covered, I was covered and it was all over the counters and floors. It was quite an adventure!!!

HoHoHo!!

We had our annual family Christmas party on Saturday and Jore got to meet Santa Clause for the first time. I was a little nervous that she would cry but as you can see, she did just fine!!

One stylin baby!!!!

Well I really wish I had Jorie's wardrobe!!! Kevin's sister Teri came down from Washington this week and brought Jorie some new clothes. This sweater is so cute and Kevin's mom bought her the boots. She looked so cute and she was just being so funny!! I just love her!!!

The parties have started!!

Tis the season to party right? On Sunday we went over to my aunt Sandra's house for our party. We always have one with her family and ours. It is so fun. It's probably my favorite party of the year. She bought Jorie and Cooper matching outfits that were so cute and she also got them these cute hats. They looked so cute in them. We had so much fun. We played some very fun games and had turkey dinner. I had a blast!! What a fun time of year!!!

BLACK FRIDAY!!!!!

So Black Friday is my very favorite day of the year!!!! Every year me, Mindi and Gentry, (and usually Ginger) go shopping. We go at about 3:30 and hit the stores. The one picture is the line at Kohls. And yes we were in front of Kmart. I'm not sure what the great bargain was. I don't even go for anything specific, I just go for the fun of it all. One year I took Shelli and Susan and they didn't know that you had to hurry so they just stood in the back of Shopko and watched everyone throwing blankets around. (that was the hot item!) And that same year Kevin went and he was switching things in people carts so we don't take them anymore!!!! My sister won't go because one time she got pushed down. People are nuts and it is so entertaining!!!!!! After a wild morning of pushing and shoving you need some nourishment so we head on over to Angies. Nothing like a good breakfast and a big Diet Coke after all that excitement!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!!! We sure did!!! Dinner was wonderful. We went with Kevins family. We usually eat with his and go bowling with mine but my mom was in Las Vegas this year so we just hung out with the Normans. It was so much fun. I love Thanksgiving. It's just such a wonderful time of year and I am so thankful for so many things!!!!

Pre-Thanksgiving

So neither Kevin or I have ever cooked a turkey. We had one in our freezer and we were getting a pig so I needed to make some room and we decided to cook our turkey. We have a smoker and we used that. I just had to take a picture of it because I was so proud of how well it turned out. Isn't she a beauty? It was so delicious!!! It was our pre-thanksgiving dinner!!!!!!

All 11!!

I haven't updated in a while!!!! I painted Jorie's fingernails the otherday. I have painted her toes but
never her fingers. I had to do it, who
can say that they can paint 11 fingernails. She won't be able to say that for long. Her surgery is still on the 17th. I will be glad when it's over!! I can't believe how big she is getting. She is so funny. Her personality is really starting to show thru and I think she will keep us laughing!!!
