6 months old!!!

We took Jorie to the doctor today for her 6 month check. I can not believe that she is already 6 months old. It's crazy!!! She weighs 17 lbs and 2 oz. What a little chunker!!! I love it. We started her on baby food tonight. She got some squash, yummy!!! She really wasn't too sure about it. She was pulling some pretty funny faces. She is seriously the best baby!!! I am so lucky! She has the funniest little personality. She keeps us laughing constantly!!! I love her so much!! She LOVES to talk. And I love to listen to her when she does. I could just listen to her for days. And she is so giggly!! She laughs at anything, it's the best sound in the world. I'm kinda proud, can ya tell?

Buddies!!!!!

I know, more fuzzy pictures. That whole moving target thing!! This time there were two!! Sammi usually doesn't get too close to Jorie but the other night Jorie and I were sitting on the floor playing with her toys and Sammi came over and plopped right down by Jorie. Jorie loved it because she loves the dogs. Everytime Sammi would lay her head down or look the other direction Jorie would grab her collar like "Hello, pay attention to ME!!!" It was great. I am so glad that the dogs are so good with her, what a relief!!!

Winter Activities

So we went up to Hardware Ranch a few weeks ago with my family. It was a lot of fun except we had to wake Jorie up from her nap so she wasn't too thrilled about the sleigh ride. My nephew, Cooper, kept growling at all of the elk. It was so funny. He is full of it!!! Then I went snow shoeing (is that spelled wrong?) Anyway, I went with Mindi, Carol, Gentry and a few other ladies. It was so much fun. I would love to go again. I am really out of shape, but oh well!!!! Thanks guys for taking me with you!!

Funny girl

Sorry......the pics are a little fuzzy. It's not easy to take clear ones with a constantly moving target!!! Nice hat huh? Kevin was changing Jorie's clothes and her sweater got caught. It looked pretty funny so you know..... I just had to get a picture!!

We really need some more hair!!!!!

Well Jorie doesn't have much hair!!! It really stands up so I tried to put a little clip in what she does have. It looked pretty funny but atleast it's something different!!!! I was trying to do her laundry and didn't have enough hand to carry her and the basket so I improvised!!! It worked pretty well and she was loving it in there!!! Maybe that can be her new "cage" since she is scooting and rolling all over the place!!!!!

Like father, like daughter!!!

Jorie has some little Carhart overalls, as you can see!!! Kevin gets to tend on Wed. nights while I am at work so I usually dress her for the occasion!!! She looked pretty cute!!! Her new favorite toy is the remote control. She can spot it from across the room and folds in half trying to reach it!!!! It's pretty funny!!!

Funny mom!!!

Jorie gets so funny in the evenings!! She gets really silly and laughs at everything!!! She had been laughing really hard but of course when I tried to video her she started to wind down!!! I will try to get a better one. And don't mind me being a dork!!!! Kevin says I take it a little to far but she likes it and I will do anything to make her laugh!!! I LOVE it!!!!!!!

Making Cookies!!

Jorie is my little helper!!! I was trying to make cookies a while ago and she just wanted to help. She has really started reaching for stuff. I let her hold the spoons and she talked to me the whole time I was cooking. She is so funny!!!!!! Why do we even buy toys? Measuring spoons are much cheaper and she seemed to like them more!!!!!
