We just love those hand-me-downs!!! I love this little outfit that we got from Teri. She looked so cute in it but as you can see the hat's a little too big and as I was taking these pictures it kept getting lower and lower. She wasn't too excited once it finally covered her eyes.
Yeah for a new background!!!! It's about time right? Thanks Mindi, I followed to link on yours!!!! So last Wednesday night when I got home from work Kevin had put Jorie in the Jazz outfit that he bought for her at a game he went to. It's so cute. You can't see very well but it has the jazz logo on the front and little stripes on the sides of the skirt. They were just hanging out watching the Jazz game so of course she had to dress for the occasion. He's such a good dad!!! Lets just hope that she doesn't make a habit of pulling her skirt up like in the picture!!! You gotta love those chubby legs!! Her hand is doing much better. I had to take her back to the doctor on Friday because it got really red. The doc was pretty concerned that it might have infection in the bone so we had to do more xrays. Thank goodness that it was just in the skin and not in the bone. She put her on antibiotics and it is looking much better!!!
I know that my backgroung is Autumn. I can't get the site to work to change it and when I did I lost my Christmas one. Sorry. I will keep trying to fix it!!!!
Our before and after. We finally got to take Jorie's cast off today. Kevin came home at lunch and we had to put her in the tub and soak it for a while. The pink layer came off really easy but the layer under that was not easy. It was super sticky rubbery tape and it was stuck right to her skin. We pulled it off very carefully but she was very mad. By the time we got it all the way off her poor little arm was bright red. It looks really good though. There are still stitches in it and there is still some bruising but all in all it looks good. She has cried a lot today so I think it might hurt her to move it. That makes sense since they had to move the muscles and tendons around and she hasn't been able to bend her wrist for 3 weeks now so it can't feel too good. The poor little fart!!!!! She's doing so good though, I can't believe it. I was funny to look at her cast before we took it off. I was really starting to fray where she chewed on it all the time. Yummy!!!
Well as you know we got a ton of snow on Christmas. It was awesome!!!! Kevin loves to plow and so the day after Christmas I got Jorie all bundled up and took her outside to help dad. She was loving it. I can't wait until she wants to build a snowman with me!!!!! It was pretty cold so I took her back in the house and she got really mad. After a while I took her back out and she was as happy as she could be!!! She is just like her dad!!!!!! My dad gave Jorie her very own little tiny sleigh for Christmas. I pulled her around in it for a while and she loved it. I will get some pics next time we do it. It's pretty funny.
Hope all of you had a great holiday!!! We sure did. And Santa found us. Kevin got a gun, I got a KitchenAid mixer, a coat and some snow pants and Jorie got some toys and a dress and some books and jammies. She, of course, got spoiled from the grandparents. She got a new cabbage patch doll named Jorie Sue Norman and she was born on the same day. You can order them just for your kids so Susan got one for the girls, they are awesome. And she got lots more toys that she loves!!!! My mom gave her a little barn that sings and lights up and she has figured out how to make it sing all by herself. She is so funny and she always pulls the funniest faces. As you can see!!!!
My mom gave Jorie this "Cheer Bear" before her surgery. As you can see, she loves it!!! She loves to snuggle with anything really. (I love it when it's me!!!) She just holds this bear right up by her head and usually falls asleep on it. So funny.
Kevin and I have been married for 4 yrs. I can't believe it. We built our house and have lived there for almost 3 years. I love it! Kevin has been working really hard to get the yard in and it is looking so good! Kevin is still working with his dad building houses and doing fancy finish work and I am still teaching dental at BATC. He is the Scout Master in our ward and he loves it and the boys love him. He does such an awesome job. He goes on a camp once a month with the boys, I think he gets way more excited than they do. I am still the Beehive advisor, it's a great calling! We have 2 dogs, a yellow lab named Jack and a boxer named Sammi. Up until now they have been our kids but we are expecting our first real baby in about 2 and a half weeks-so scary! We are having a girl and we are so excited! We are naming her Jorie Sue. I can't wait! I am totally new to this whole blogging thing so bear with me. I figure all of our friends have one and some of them have moved so I might as well do my part to stay connected to everyone!! Here goes nothin!
